Job Summary

Certified Nursing Assistants are responsible for providing industry-leading personal care and assistance in the facility. Assist residents with personal hygiene, including dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and bathing/showers, as well as provide basic treatments as required under the direction of nursing staff.

Essential Functions

• Participate as a member of the care team, helping maintain a physical, social, and psychological environment conducive to residents’ welfare.
• Observe and report resident conditions to nursing staff or supervisor, including any changes, incidents, or unusual findings.
• Familiarize with residents’ daily needs, preferences, and care plans to personalize care.
• Accurately record all resident care information and report any unusual occurrences or changes in condition.
• Respond promptly to resident call lights and needs with a service-minded approach.
• Assist residents with transfers using appropriate equipment and body mechanics, ensuring safety.
• Support residents in regaining independence through teaching and encouragement in ADL skills.
• Build personalized rapport with residents and assist with their belongings, creating a comfortable environment.
• Create a positive atmosphere aligned with our Core Values.
• Follow instructions, complete daily assignments, and adapt proactively to changes.
• Show understanding and compassion for the elderly population.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Must be at least 16 years old (required).

License/Certifications

• Successful completion of a 75-hour Nurse Aide course (required).
• CPR Certification (preferred).
