Visiting Angels Baytown is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide compassionate in-home care to seniors in the Baytown area. The role includes light housekeeping, meal support, mobility assistance, and companionship with a focus on safety and empathy.

Responsibilities: assist with medications, transportation, personal care, and daily activities, while maintaining high standards of health and safety.

Qualifications

• Passion to serve others and be a true caregiver.
• Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid.
• Respectful, compassionate, and good time management.
• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to work Baytown, Liberty, Dayton and nearby areas.

• Help clients take prescribed medication.
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.).
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Help clients with routine exercises.
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able).
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop.
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own.
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion.
• Report any unusual incidents.
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency.
