Visiting Angels Amarillo is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA to provide exceptional support and care to our clients across settings in the Amarillo area.

You will assist with ADLs, monitor health, prepare meals, and ensure a clean, safe environment while collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver quality care to individuals with diverse needs.

Qualifications

Experience in home health, hospice, or caregiving.
Experience with memory care or Alzheimer's care.
Knowledge of first aid and CPR techniques.
Understanding of HIPAA regulations regarding patient privacy.
Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for client support.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with ADLs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Provide patient care by monitoring vital signs and observing changes in health or behavior.
Prepare meals and assist with meal planning according to dietary restrictions.
Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks.
Administer medications as prescribed and ensure adherence to care plans.
Engage clients in social activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being.

Utilize equipment such as Hoyer lifts for transferring clients safely.

Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA

Visiting Angels Amarillo is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA to provide exceptional support and care to our clients in various settings, including assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and private homes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for individuals with diverse needs, including those with developmental disabilities, Alzheimer's, and dementia. This role requires a blend of personal care skills, patience, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Our office in Amarillo provides caregivers for the Panhandle area including Amarillo, Claude, Hereford, Dumas, Borger, Fritch, Canyon, Pampa , and many others.

Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA Duties

Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Provide patient care by monitoring vital signs and observing changes in health or behavior.
