Job summary

St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant for our Med Surg Unit located within the Edgewood Hospital. Part Time, 48 hours bi-weekly, 7A-3P.

The Certified Nursing Assistant provides direct and indirect patient care activities under the direction of an RN or LPN: assists patients with activities of daily living, provides personal care and comfort, and maintains a safe and clean environment for an assigned group of patients.

Qualifications

• Certified in the state where work is performed as a CNA.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Completion of applicable state CNA courses.
• Successful CNA exam completion required for certification.
• CPR certification for professional rescuer.
• Basic mathematical skills demonstrated.
