Overview

Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.) position in home care with LIFE Lawrence County. $1,000 sign‑on bonus paid throughout the first year of employment. Pay starts at $18.90 per hour. This casual C.N.A. role is with Lutheran SeniorLife, which offers a comprehensive array of community‑based health and social services across western Pennsylvania, including LIFE (Living Independence for the Elderly); skilled nursing, home health; personal care; adoption & foster care; assisted living; adult day services; memory care; hospice; palliative care; residential living; affordable housing; home safety monitoring; Meals on Wheels; rehabilitation services and private duty. The program serves residents of Armstrong, Butler, Beaver, and Lawrence Counties, helping them maintain independence in their homes and communities.

Responsibilities

• Assist participants in mobility exercises and daily living activities (walking, transfers, use of mobility devices, toileting, incontinence care, feeding, showering, transportation).
• Provide care across settings (center or home) with a focus on participant satisfaction and retention.
• Support socialization and overall well‑being.
• Support the mission and core values of the LIFE Program and demonstrate teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current Pennsylvania State Nurse Aide Certification, listed on the state nurse aide registry with no allegations.
• At least one year of experience with frail or elderly individuals.
• Dependable transportation and a valid driver's license.
