Overview

Certified Nursing Assistant CNA - $6,000 Sign-On Bonus (paid throughout the first year of employment).

Rates starting at $18.90 per hour.

Lutheran SeniorLife offers a comprehensive range of community-based health and social services throughout western Pennsylvania, including LIFE (Living Independence for the Elderly), skilled nursing, home health, personal care, adoption & foster care, assisted living, adult day services, memory care, hospice, palliative care, residential living, affordable housing, home safety monitoring, Meals on Wheels, rehabilitation services, and private duty.

The LIFE program serves residents in Armstrong, Butler, Beaver, and Lawrence Counties, providing person-centered services from medical care to adult day supports, with the goal of helping individuals maintain independence in their homes and communities.

The CNA performs basic duties to assist participants, supporting their independence and well-being. Responsibilities include helping with mobility exercises, transfers, toileting, incontinence care, feeding, showering, transportation, and socialization, ensuring participant satisfaction and retention. Knowledge of the LIFE program's mission and core values, along with teamwork, are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Current Pennsylvania State Nurse Aide Certification, listed on the state nurse aide registry without allegations
• At least 1 year of experience with the frail or elderly
• Dependable transportation with a valid driver's license
