Job summary

Elba Rehabilitation and Wellness Center is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our dedicated care team in Elba, AL. You will assist residents with daily living activities and support licensed staff to deliver high-quality care.

Positions include 16-hour shifts on Saturdays and Sundays and an additional 8-hour shift during the week. New graduates are welcome to apply, and a high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in Alabama is required.
• New graduates are welcome to apply.

• Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition patients of varying weights.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Provide vital sign monitoring and reporting to licensed nursing staff.
• Assist with transfers, ambulation, and range of motion exercises.
• Support with feeding, mealtime assistance, and hydration.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Maintain accurate records of patient care and services.
• Demonstrate commitment to patient-centered care and priorities.
