Spring Arbor of Wilmington is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct resident care, under supervision, ensuring safety, comfort, and quality of life for seniors.

Shifts include 6:45am-3pm, 2:45pm-11pm, 10:45pm-7am; full-time and part-time roles with pay $16.54–$20.01 per hour. We value compassion, teamwork, and dedication to resident well-being.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one (1) year related health care experience required.
• In any Community with an Ensemble Program, applicant must successfully complete required dementia training.
• Must have a positive Criminal Background Screening.
• The Community is a drug free workplace; associates are subject to adherence to the Company Drug Free Workplace policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care under supervision of the Resident Care Director, Supervisor-in-Charge, and/or licensed nursing personnel.
• Assist with activities of daily living.
• Respond to emergency calls and support dining and daily routines.
• Observe and report changes in resident condition and maintain documentation.

We're looking for compassionate, dependable Resident Assistants to care for our amazing seniors!

Location: Spring Arbor of Wilmington
Pay: $16.54–$20.01 per hour

Full-Time & Part-Time Shifts:

• 6:45am-3pm
• 2:45pm-11pm
• 10:45pm-7am

The Resident Assistant (RA) provides direct resident care and support under the supervision of the Resident Care Director, Supervisor-in-Charge, and/or licensed nursing personnel. This role helps maintain a safe, comfortable, and positive physical and social environment while supporting residents’ daily care needs, dignity, independence, and quality of life.

The Resident Assistant assists with activities of daily living, responds to emergency calls, supports dining and daily routines, observes and reports changes in resident condition, maintains required documentation, and communicates professionally with residents, family members, team members, and visitors. The ideal candidate is compassionate, dependable, service-oriented, and able to work collaboratively in a senior living environment.

Areas of Responsibility

• Approach all encounters with residents and associates in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, changing of bed linens, positioning, transfer, mobility, medicinal reminders, and incontinence care.
• Keep proper records of care including a resident service plan and documenting services provided.
• Be familiar with resident service plan and document all service provided.
• Work closely and maintain daily communications with the Resident Services associates so that a continuity of care and services is maintained for the residents.
• Promote a safe environment for residents, associates, and visitors.
• Support the programming and operations of the neighborhood.

Required Qualifications

• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one (1) year related health care experience required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in CPR and first aid preferred or as required by the state.
• May be a Licensed or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Nursing Assistant (NA) depending on the state requirements, if licensed or certified must be in good standing with the state licensing or certifying agency.
• Previous experience with computerized resident documentation systems a plus.
