Job summary

Friendship Village Retirement Community in Waterloo, IA is seeking a compassionate 2nd Shift Nursing Aide (CNA) to care for residents at Wellspring Living. You will assist with bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding and mobility, while maintaining dignity and comfort.

Candidates must hold an active Iowa Nursing Assistant Certification, be able to work weekends and holidays, lift up to 50 lbs, and pass pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

If you have a passion for caring for seniors, join the Friendship Village team as a 2nd Shift Nursing Aide (CNA). You must have a valid and active nursing assistant certification. As a nursing aide/assistant you will provide care for the residents at Wellspring Living, a skilled care building. You will help residents with bathing, toileting, dressing, feeding and any needs the resident has to maintain a happy life.

Pay Rates

• $18/hour + experience pay + shift differentials ($2/hr for 2nd and $3/hr for 3rd)

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Iowa Nursing Assistant Certification
• Ability to work weekends and holidays as required
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Applicants are required to pass pre‑employment screenings that could include: Criminal background checks, Abuse registry check, Drug test, Physical, and TB test.
