Job summary

Meridian Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct care for residents in our Rhode Island communities. You will assist with daily activities, report changes in condition, and maintain compassionate interaction with residents, families, staff and the public.

Requirements include a state-approved CNA certification, being 18+, and the ability to communicate effectively.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active State approved CNA certification in good standing.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Food Handlers Permit as required by State regulations.
• Previous experience working with the elderly.
• Must demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors and the general public.
• Must be honest, fair, dependable, respect confidentiality and the rights and privacy of others.
• Must meet all health requirements and pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care assisting residents in daily activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Assist with positioning, mobility and incontinence care.
• Keep proper care records and report changes in residents’ conditions.
• Interact effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors and the general public.
