Location:Big Horn Rehabilitation and Care Center, Sheridan, Wyoming

Our 128-bed facility specializes in short-term rehabilitation, long-term care, respite care, and comfort care services. Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic CNA to provide physical support and assist residents in performing daily living activities. We are looking for a compassionate advocate for residents and their families. As a CNA you will be responsible for supporting medical staff in administering care to patients.

Key Responsibilities: As the Certified Nursing Assistant, you will:

• Provide help with bathing and grooming residents with low mobility.

• Provide help eat and take medications.

• Making sure patients have regular meals and proper medication dosages.

• Prepare resident room with necessary items such as blankets, pillows, medical equipment and toiletries.

• Work closely with clinical staff to ensure residents' individualized care plans are implemented effectively, meeting both physical and emotional needs.

• Transferring residents with low mobility from wheelchair to bed and vice versa.

• Turning or adjusting residents in bed.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate for this position will have:

• Current state certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA)

• First aid and CPR certifications.

• In-depth understanding of resident care policies and regulations.

• Excellent interpersonal skills.

• Physical strength and stamina.

• Effective communication skills.

• Good collaboration and teamwork skills.
