Job summary

TalentBurst is seeking a CNA for a Long Term Care facility in Alaska. This on-site travel assignment offers a total weekly compensation composed of a base pay and stipends for 26 weeks, with night shifts available and a 1:20 patient ratio.

Candidates must demonstrate 0.5 year CNA experience, travel experience, BLS, and provide proof of Alaska license application. Preference for travel nurses with flexibility and commitment to 26 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living.
• Assist with ambulation and mobility.
• Assist with feeding and turning/repositioning.
• Bed bath, linen changes, and routine hygiene.
• Urine/stool incontinence care and basic skin care.
• Infection control and proper PPE usage.
• Record vitals and report changes to nursing staff.

CNA / Nurse Assistant // LTC $728 weekly stipends $13.50/hour $756 weekly base pay Onsite Contract Starts 10/27/2026 26 weeks

Night Shift 12 hours/day 4 days/week

*AK CNA license can be pending, but candidate must have already submitted the Alaska CNA license application in order to apply. If they have not already submitted application please redirect.
o Candidate must provide documentation of license application that includes application submittal, application fee paid, FPs submitted, educational verification submitted, license verification submitted.
If their AK CNA license is pending they must also submit the following with their application:
o Valid CNA license in another state
o Verification of completion of a formal CNA training program (must be able to provide certificate, transcript, etc.)

Shift: 4x12 Variable
-Note that caregivers are not asked to rotate between night/day shifts (occasional exceptions for urgent staffing needs). Shifts will be either Days or Nights, but dependent on facility needs at time of start date.

All caregivers are required to obtain the Alaska Food Worker Certification as a requirement of working in a LTC facility. Clinicans will obtain certification during orienation on-site at facility. They do not need to complete this prior to their start date. There is a one-time *** fee for this certification.

RTO Restrictions: No more than 2 weeks of RTO will be considered for a 26 Week Contract. Preference is for traveler's to be willing/able to work any holidays. All RTO must be sent with submittal. RTO will not be considered if requested after an offer or after signing contract.
Guaranteed Hours: 72 Hours per 2 weeks - Traveler can be called off for 1, 12-hour shift per 2 weeks

Facility will arrange for shuttle transportation to and from Anchorage at the start and end of the traveler's contract. There is also a local shuttle in Seward to assist with local transportation.
