+ Schedule: PRN. Rotating shifts, weekend requirement, and holidays.

+ Hospital: St Vincent Salem Hospital

+ Location: 911 Shelby Street Salem, IN

**Responsibilities**

  • Assist with patients/participants care activities.
  • Assist with procedures ordered by physician and supervised by a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Accommodate patients/participants with tending to personal care, activities of daily living, and transfers/transport.
  • Report findings or changes in physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff.
  • Assist with keeping patients/participants rooms clean and orderly.
  • Monitor patients/participants environment for safety hazards and emergency situations and initiate corrective action as appropriate, as needed.

**Requirements**

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Nurse Aide credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required.
  • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
