Job summary

Nest & Care in Rockville, MD is seeking compassionate Personal Caregivers to provide hands-on care to clients in their homes. You will assist with bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, and personal hygiene while following each client's care plan.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of caregiving experience in agencies, nursing homes, group homes, or similar settings.
• No attendance issues.
• Ability to perform personal and companion care.
• Reads client care plans and follows assessments to provide quality care.
• Adheres to company policies and documents time on/off as required.
• Notifies appropriate personnel of changes in client condition.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on personal and companion care (bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, personal hygiene).
• Read and follow client care plans and assessments.
• Clock in and out on the appropriate systems.
• Observe client changes and report to Nest & Care as needed.

• Caregivers with no attendance issues
• Caregivers who believe that they can make a difference in the lives of their clients
• Caregivers who can perform personal and companion care - provide hands-on care, which may include assisting with bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, and personal hygiene.
• Reads the client’s care plan and assessments and provides consistent quality care based upon the care plan for each client
• Adheres to all company policies, including dress code, time off, call-out, etc.Clocks in and out of every shift worked on the appropriate systems associated with the client or clients they are servicing
• Observes clients recognize changes in their behavior or health, then notifies the appropriate personnel of Nest & Care if necessary
