Shalom Parkside Senior Living in Richmond, VA is hiring Compassionate CNAs for a part-time, per diem role. You will provide hands-on care, assist with ADLs, and help residents maintain independence in a warm, home-like environment.

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification in the state.
• Experience in assisted living or senior care preferred.
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to assist with lifting, standing, bending, and walking for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
• Support residents in maintaining independence while ensuring safety and comfort.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation as needed.
• Provide reminders and assistance with meals, hydration, and daily routines.
• Engage residents in social activities and meaningful interactions.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming living environment.
• Monitor and report any changes in residents' condition to the nurse or supervisor.
• Respond promptly to resident needs and call systems.
• Build positive relationships with residents, families, and team members.
