Job summary

Shalom Parkside Senior Living in Richmond, VA is hiring compassionate CNAs for part-time/per diem day shifts. You will provide hands-on support to residents, assisting with ADLs and mobility while fostering independence and a warm, home-like environment.

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification required.
• Experience in assisted living preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming and personal hygiene.
• Support residents in maintaining independence while ensuring safety and comfort.
• Assist with mobility, transfers and ambulation as needed.
• Provide reminders and assistance with meals, hydration, and daily routines.
• Engage residents in social activities and meaningful interactions.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming living environment.
• Monitor and report changes in residents’ condition to the nurse or supervisor.
• Respond promptly to resident needs and call systems.
• Build positive relationships with residents, families, and team members.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to assist with lifting, standing, bending, and walking for extended periods
