Job summary

Persimmon Ridge Rehabilitation Center, located in Portland, Indiana, seeks compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants to join our care team. CNAs will observe and report health changes to the Charge Nurse and assist residents with daily living activities, documenting care as required, under supervision.

Candidate must be a CNA or in an approved training program, with patience, tact, and good emotional health to support residents needing extended standing and lifting.

Qualifications

• Must be Certified Nursing Assistant; or in a State recognized training program to become a Certified Nursing Assistant.
• Should have patience and tact in dealing with anyone at the facility
• Must display good emotional health and be capable of extended periods of standing, bending and heavy lifting.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report changes in residents’ health status to the Charge Nurse on an ongoing basis.
• Provide assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, oral hygiene, skin care).
• Follow instructions and complete records under supervision
• Document all care given and observations made while giving care
• Follow Magnolia Health Systems guidelines in dealing with patient care
