Job summary

Okeechobee SNF Operations, LLC is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our 210-bed Skilled Nursing Facility in Okeechobee, Florida. You will support residents with daily living activities and promote their independence, dignity, and well-being.

Responsibilities include transporting residents, assisting with personal care, facilitating activities, and following infection control procedures.

Qualifications

• Clear/Active Florida License
• Pass a Level II Background Check
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and be medically cleared

Responsibilities

• Assist in transporting residents to/from appointments, activity and social programs, etc.
• Assist residents with bowel and bladder functions, bathing, dressing, and personal grooming
• Assist residents in preparing for activity and social programs, including church services, parties, and visitors
• Support residents through meaningful activities that match their individual abilities
• Check and report bowel movements and character of stools as instructed
• Follow established infection prevention and control procedures
• Maintain intake and output records as instructed
• Observe and report the presence of pressure areas and skin breakdowns to prevent pressure injuries
• Attend change of shift reports
• Perform restorative and rehabilitative procedures as instructed in accordance with the individualized plan of care

Additional Information:

• Competitive hourly rate: $17/hour

• $2 Weekend differential and $2 Night shift differential

• Full time, part time, PRN opportunities available
