Job summary

Paramount Community Living and Rehab in Newton, KS is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide high-quality care to residents in a skilled nursing setting.

You will document care in electronic health records, assist with daily living activities, monitor residents, and collaborate with the nursing staff to maintain safety and comfort.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar healthcare setting preferred.
• Current CNA certification in Kansas required.
• Physical ability to lift and move residents, as well as perform physical tasks associated with patient care.

• Accurately document care provided, changes in residents' conditions, and other pertinent information in electronic health records
• Communicate effectively with the nursing staff and supervisor regarding any changes in residents' conditions or concerns

• Follow infection control protocols to maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
• Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care
