Qualifications

• Must hold a current NYS CNA Certification.

Park Gardens Rehabilitation & Nursing Center, a 200 bed skilled nursing facility in the Riverdale section of the Bronx has immediate openings for enthusiastic and energetic CNA’s for all shiftsto become part ofour dedicated and professional staff. We arelooking for individuals who desire a worthwhile career that has purpose and makes a meaningful difference in someone’s life . Under supervised professional and skilled guidance, our CNAsgive direct nursing care to assigned residents and perform other services necessary for their personal and comforts needs. Job Responsibilities / Duties :

• Promotes resident hygiene and comfort.
• Distributes food / water and feeds residents.
• Assists with repositioning and transferring residents.
• Ambulates and transports residents.
• Records and totals fluid intake and output.
• Weighs residents.
• Documents on flow sheets.
• Assists with admission, discharge and postmortem care.
• Responds to call lights in a timely manner.
• Performs perineal care and uncomplicated colostomy care.
• Reports all observations & assessments to the Team Leader / Nurse Manager / Charge Nurse.
• Takes and records vital signs.
• Makes beds and keeps resident’s units clean and in order.

Skill / Experience Requirements .

Current NYS CNA Certification Required.
