Role Description

This full-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) role is on-site at Legacy Pines Assisted Living in New Richmond, WI. The CNA provides direct resident care, including assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility. The role involves monitoring and documenting resident conditions, reporting changes to supervisors, and supporting medication reminders as directed by licensed staff. Day-to-day tasks include helping serve meals, assisting with eating as needed, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and supporting residents with social and recreational activities. The CNA collaborates with the care team to promote residents’ comfort, dignity, and wellbeing while following all facility policies and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Wisconsin and basic knowledge of assisted living care standards.
• Skills in providing personal care and support with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and safe transfers.
• Ability to observe, document, and communicate changes in resident condition clearly and promptly to the care team.
• Strong interpersonal skills for building respectful relationships with residents, families, and coworkers, including patience and empathy.

• Ability to lift, move, and assist residents safely as required; capacity to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Previous experience in assisted living, long-term care, or a similar setting is preferred but not required.
• High school diploma or equivalent; CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
