Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Renewity Assisted Living in New Albany, IN. The Certified Nursing Assistant will be responsible for providing basic care to patients, assisting with daily activities, and ensuring a safe and clean environment. Day-to-day tasks include helping patients with bathing, dressing, and grooming, assisting with mobility and transport, monitoring vital signs, and documenting patient information accurately. The CNA will also provide companionship and emotional support, communicate effectively with healthcare team members, and adhere to all clinical standards and safety practices.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification and current state license
• Experience in providing basic patient care services and assisting with daily living activities
• Skills in observing and reporting patient health and well-being
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team
• Compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach to patient care
• High school diploma or equivalent
• CPR and First Aid certifications are a plus
• Experience working in an assisted living or long-term care facility is beneficial
