Job summary

Majestic Care of Cedar Village is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team in Mason, Ohio. The CNA will deliver direct hands-on nursing care to residents daily, helping them achieve the highest possible level of functioning while living a normal lifestyle.

The role includes assisting with ADLs, responding to call lights, transporting residents, and reporting observations to nurses. We offer a range of benefits and opportunities for growth within a caring, values-driven team.

Qualifications

• Certified and state tested as a CNA in the state employed.
• Certificate must be active, valid, and in good standing.

Responsibilities

• To perform or assist the resident with completing Activities of Daily Living (ADL).
• Respond to residents call lights to provide maximum comfort, safety and privacy.
• Transport residents by ambulation or by wheelchair to areas of community (dining room, lobby and activities).
• Report any significant findings/observations to nurse immediately.
• Assist residents on admission, transfer and discharge to make a smooth transition.
• Responsible for the safekeeping of residents’ personal possessions.
• Keep resident rooms neat and safe.
• Follow proper infection control techniques.
• Respect the rights of each resident, particularly privacy and confidentiality.
• Re-teach resident to perform ADL skills.
• Provide restorative care to prevent pressure sores, contractures, and complications.
• Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement and ensures follow-up occurs.
• Converse with resident and family; assist them on adjustment to the community.
• Ensure adequate hydration and nutrition of resident; report deviations from norm to the Charge Nurse promptly.
• Perform blood pressure, pulse, respirations, intake/output and weights accurately.

Position Overview:
