Job summary

Sevita’s NeuroRestorative facility in Woodland Hills, CA seeks a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant for full-time day shifts. The role includes direct patient care, documentation, vital signs, and engaging residents in activities to support daily living needs.

Ideal candidates have California CNA certification, CPR certification, and at least 1 year of experience with medically complex patients. A supportive team and overtime opportunities are available as part of a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• Completion of CNA certification program
• Current California CNA certification
• 1 year CNA experience preferred, ideally experience with medically complex patients
• Current CPR for Healthcare Provider
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff, residents, and families

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care such as assisting the patient in moving to and from bed and monitoring condition with regular assessments
• Assist patients with dressing or bathing as directed by the supervising nurse
• Observe patients and report changes to the nurse
• Provide basic support to convalescing patients
• Assist with mobility exercises and range of motion activities

Job description

NeuroRestorative, a part of the Sevita family, provides rehabilitation services for people of all ages with brain, spinal cord and medically complex injuries, illnesses and other challenges. In a variety of locations and community-based settings, we offer a range of programs, including vocational and therapy programs, day treatments, and specialized services for infants, children, adolescents, Military Service Members and Veterans.

FACILITY IS LOCATED IN WOODLAND HILLS (SAN FERNANDO VALLEY)

Certified Nursing Assistant

• Full-time DAY shift available
• DAY shift: 7:00 am to 7:30 pm
• 12-hour shifts (every shift includes 4 hours of overtime pay)
• Salary range: $18.50-$21.00 per hour, based on experience
• Blended salary range (8 hours of base pay + 4 hours of overtime pay = $21.58-$24.50 per hour)

Full-time Schedule

• Week 1 days are Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday
• Week 2 days are Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday

We are currently seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant who is kind, hardworking and dedicated to helping us provide compassionate, gentle care to our residents. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in an inpatient or long-term care facility and is capable of providing Activities of Daily Living such as helping patients with bathing, grooming, dressing, feeding, and recreational activities, as well as documenting care and taking vital signs. The successful candidate for this position enjoys working with individuals with special needs and having the opportunity to make a true difference in their lives.
