Job summary

JGS Lifecare is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for Leavitt Family Jewish Home in Massachusetts. The role includes assisting with daily living activities, monitoring vitals, and supporting licensed nurses to ensure resident safety.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing with the MA state registry.
• Ability to communicate fluently in English - both verbally and written.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
• Monitor and record vital signs, intake/output, and observe changes to nursing staff.
• Provide basic patient care under direction of licensed nurses, including repositioning, transferring, and assisting with mobility to prevent falls.
• Support residents' quality of life by fostering a positive, respectful environment and encouraging engagement in meaningful daily activities.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment by infection control, responding to call lights, and ensuring comfort and safety on shift.

• Monitor and record vital signs, intake/output, and observe and report changes in residents physical or mental condition to the nursing staff promptly.
• Provide basic patient care under the direction of licensed nurses, including repositioning, transferring, and assisting with mobility to prevent falls and pressure injuries.
• Support residents' quality of life by fostering a positive, respectful environment and encouraging engagement in meaningful daily activities.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment by following infection control protocols, responding to call lights, and ensuring residents' comfort and safety throughout the shift.
