Job summary

CareOne Greensburg is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our caring team at the Greensburg, PA location. This role supports residents with daily living activities under nursing supervision, in a long-term care setting.

The successful candidate will hold an active Nursing Assistant certification, communicate compassionately with residents and families, and work as part of a dedicated team to maintain high standards of care and safety.

Qualifications

• Must be a certified or state tested Nursing Assistant per state law.
• Must read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills to provide age-appropriate care.
• Must be a supportive team member and promote teamwork.
• Must relate information about a resident's condition.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care under nursing staff.
• Assist with feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, moving patients, and changing linens.
• Maintain active nursing aide certification.

THE REHABILITATION AND NURSING CENTER AT GREATER PITTSBURGH

The Certified Nursing Assistant is responsible for, but not limited to:

• Basic patient care under direction of nursing staff
• Perform duties, such as feed, bathe, dress, groom, or move patients, or change linens.
• Active nursing aide certification in the state of operation.
• Prefer experience with patients of all ages in a SNF setting. Dedication to quality care.

Position Requirements

• Must be a certified or state tested Nursing Assistant in accordance with the laws of the state.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served.
• Must be a supportive team member, contribute to and be an example of team work and team concept.
• Must have patience tact, a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult residents.
• Must be able to relate information concerning a resident's condition.
