Job summary

Qualifications

• Active Virginia CNA certification in good standing is REQUIRED.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents under licensed staff.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Assist with mobility, transfers, positioning, and ambulation using safety procedures.
• Assist with meals, hydration, and other daily needs.
• Monitor and document vital signs, weights, intake/output, and other care information.
• Respond to call lights promptly with patience and care.
• Maintain a clean, safe resident environment following infection control guidelines.
• Collaborate with nurses and CNAs to deliver high-quality care.

What You'll Do – Make a Difference Every Day!

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents under the direction of licensed nursing staff.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene.
• Help residents with mobility, transfers, positioning, and ambulation using appropriate safety procedures and equipment.
• Assist with meals, hydration, and other daily needs.
• Monitor and document vital signs, weights, intake/output, and other assigned care information.
• Answer call lights promptly and respond to residents' needs with patience and compassion.
• Observe and report changes in residents' physical or emotional condition to licensed nursing staff.Assist residents with activities, appointments, and social programs.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable resident environment while following infection control guidelines.
• Collaborate with nurses and fellow CNAs to provide high-quality, resident-centered care.
• Promote resident dignity, independence, and quality of life.

What We're Looking For

• Active Virginia Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing – REQUIRED.
• Previous skilled nursing, long-term care, or senior living experience preferred.
• Compassionate, dependable, and committed to providing excellent resident care.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently while following nursing direction and established care plans.
• Ability to perform the physical responsibilities of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
