Job summary

Metcalfe Nursing and Rehab in Kentucky seeks a State Tested Nurse Assistant (SRNA/STNA/CNA) to provide compassionate care and support a resident-centered environment. You will respond to call lights, assist with daily living activities, and help maintain residents' comfort and dignity.

Shifts are 12 hours (7am-7pm or 7pm-7am) with full-time or part-time options, competitive pay, PTO accrual, flexible scheduling, and overtime opportunities. Prior LTC experience or training is preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of State Approved Nursing Assistant Training.
• Good standing in state registry.
• Ability to communicate with residents and nursing staff.
• Basic reading and writing in English.

Responsibilities

• Answer call lights and determine residents' needs.
• Check residents regularly who cannot call for help.
• Provide direct resident care (bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Explain procedures to residents.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living.

Job Summary: Ensures that resident's personal care needs are being met in accordance with Residents' wishes and Care Plan Objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Answers signal lights, bells, or intercom system to determine residents' needs and ensures call lights are within reach of resident.
• Ensures that residents' who are unable to call for help are checked frequently.
• Gives direct resident care such as bathing, dressing, and grooming of residents.
• Explains procedures to residents.
• Assists residents as necessary in their activities of daily living.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Educations:

• Ability to communicate with residents and nursing staff.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English.
• Prior experience as LTC nursing assistant preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Successful completion of State Approved Nursing Assistant Training.
• Good standing in the state registry is required.
