Position Overview (Certified Nursing Assistant – CNA)

Absaroka Senior Living Center is seeking compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our skilled nursing team. In this role, you will provide direct resident care and support residents with activities of daily living while promoting dignity, comfort, and overall well-being. As a CNA, you will work closely with licensed nursing staff and interdisciplinary team members to deliver high-quality, resident-centered care in a safe and supportive environment. Your dedication and compassion will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for those we serve.

Key Responsibilities
  • Obtain and document vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respirations, and promptly report changes to licensed nursing staff
  • Assist residents with mobility, transfers, ambulation, and repositioning in accordance with individualized care plans
  • Provide support with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding
  • Respond promptly and professionally to resident call lights and requests for assistance
  • Observe and report changes in resident condition, behavior, or overall well-being to the supervising nurse
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment while following infection control and safety protocols
  • Assist with meal service and feeding support as needed
  • Accurately document care provided in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements
  • Communicate effectively and respectfully with residents, families, visitors, and interdisciplinary team members
  • Adhere to all facility policies, state and federal regulations, and resident rights standards
Qualifications
  • Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the State of Wyoming, in good standing with no findings on the Nurse Aide Registry
  • Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills within a healthcare environment
  • Effective critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical setting
