Job summary

Role Description

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) bath aide is a full-time, on-site role located at CALLAWAY GOOD LIFE CENTER in Callaway, NE. The CNA Bath Aide provides direct resident care assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming... and in general, self care. The CNA Bath Aide helps maintain a safe, clean environment, follows infection control and safety procedures, and accurately documents care provided. Daily responsibilities also include observing and reporting changes in residents’ physical or emotional status, offering companionship, and working closely with nurses and other care team members to support individualized care plans.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Nebraska and eligibility to work in a long-term care.


• Foundational patient care skills, including assisting with activities of daily living, safe resident transfers, and basic vital sign monitoring.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with residents, families, and colleagues.


• Ability to follow care plans, document care accurately, and adhere to infection control, safety, and confidentiality standards.


• Capacity to work full-time on-site, including potential evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.


• Demonstrated reliability, compassion, patience, and respect for individuals of diverse backgrounds and abilities.


• High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in a nursing home, hospital, or similar health care environment is preferred.
