Job summary

Synergy HomeCare in Arlington, TX is seeking a reliable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide one-on-one in-home care for a client. You will assist with ADLs, mobility, and comfort, under clinical oversight.

This role involves wound care under RN direction, adherence to care plans, and compassionate bedside care. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with no weekends.

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification in Texas.
• Experience with personal care and mobility assistance preferred.
• Comfortable using transfer equipment (sit-to-stand/Hoyer lift).
• Ability to follow detailed care plans and nurse instructions.
• Dependable, attentive, and compassionate.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one in-home care, personal care support, and mobility assistance.
• Assist with ADLs: bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal prep.
• Use sit-to-stand equipment and Hoyer lift for transfers.
• Reposition client every 2 hours to prevent pressure injuries.
• Monitor changes and report to supervising nurse/agency.
• Support wound care under RN direction; visits 2–3 times weekly.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide one-on-one in-home care for a client in Arlington. This role focuses on personal care support, mobility assistance, and working alongside a skilled nursing team to ensure the client’s comfort and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Provide mobility support, including use of sit-to-stand equipment (also functions as a Hoyer lift)
• Reposition/turn client every 2 hours to prevent pressure injuries
• Assist with meal preparation and light support during mealtimes
• Support wound care by following care instructions provided by the Registered Nurse (wound care nurse visits 2–3 times per week)
• Monitor and report any changes in condition to supervising nurse/agency

Important Note on Wound Care:

This position involves assisting with wound care under the direction of a Registered Nurse. Tasks are limited to maintaining cleanliness and following established care plans. All care must remain within CNA scope of practice and agency policy.
