Job summary

Care Initiatives is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for a customizable schedule that fits your life. You can choose full-time or part-time hours and travel between Care Initiatives communities within your region to cover open shifts.

As a CNA with AffiniCare, you will support daily living activities, monitor health, provide companionship, and collaborate with the care team while adhering to infection control protocols.

Qualifications

• Six months of verifiable CNA experience.
• Active CNA certification.
• Ability to travel between Care Initiatives communities.
• Must live within reasonable driving distance.

Responsibilities

• Assists with daily living activities: bathing, dressing, grooming, eating.
• Provides emotional support and companionship.
• Interacts with residents, families, and healthcare team.
• Performs routine health monitoring and vital checks.
• Encourages recreational and therapeutic activities for residents.
• Follows infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment.

As a CNA with AffiniCare, you will be able to pick what hours you prefer to work and travel to multiple Care Initiatives locations within an area to assist with their open shifts.

What You'll Do & Key Responsibilities:

• Support daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
• Deliver emotional support and provide companionship while fostering a positive and engaging environment.
• Interact and communicate with residents, families, as well as the healthcare team.
• Provide health monitoring including conducting routine vital checks.
• Encourage and facilitate resident recreational and therapeutic activities to enhance health and daily routines.
• Adhere to infection control protocols to ensure a clean and safe environment for safety.

What it takes:

• Six (6) months of verifiable experience working as a CNA.
• Active CNA certification.
• The ability to travel between multiple Care Initiatives communities within your region.
• Must live in a reasonable driving distance from Care Initiatives communities.
