Job summary

Ambercare in Deming, NM is hiring an entry-level Certified Nursing Assistant to support seniors and individuals with disabilities in home care. This role offers flexible hours and a pathway into the growing home health care field.

You will assist with personal care, medication reminders, light housekeeping and companionship under supervision. CNA training and a valid driver’s license are required; daily pay options may be available.

Qualifications

• Good communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Reliable, energetic and well-organized individuals preferred.
• Satisfactory background check and valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Remind clients to take medication at the appropriate time.
• Assist with therapy exercises under supervision of a Registered Therapist.
• Assist with personal care including hair care, oral hygiene, bathing, grooming and dressing.
• Assist with routine bodily functions.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment with light housekeeping and laundry.
• Provide companionship and client outings or appointments.
• Observe and report changes in client’s condition.
