Job summary

Spanish Cove Retirement Village in Yukon, OK seeks a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to join our Long-Term Care team. This role focuses on compassionate, one-on-one resident care including hygiene, mobility, meals, and daily living support.

You will work 3 shifts per week, with early hours and rotating weekends, and enjoy benefits like PTO, health coverage, and opportunities for training.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
• Experience in one-on-one elder care.
• Ability to lift and transfer up to 100 lbs.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to work varied shifts, including nights.
• Hoyer lift experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly or those recovering from surgeries, injuries, or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing, and eating.
• Help clients take prescribed medication and assist clients with ambulation.
• Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.).
• Plan and prepare meals.
• Assist with physical therapy exercises.
• Complete client’s shopping or accompany them to do so successfully.
• Perform housekeeping duties.
• Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency.
• Offer activities that are essential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals, including serving and other tasks, if necessary.

Pay Rate: $16.50

• Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills.
• Frequent lifting & moving. Must have the ability to lift, move, & transfer 100 lbs with the physical capability to perform all job-related duties.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation every single day
• Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
• Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends
• Willingness to enforce health and safety standards

• High School Diploma or equivalent/Experience as a Caregiver, CNA or HHA, or completion of a CNA Program
