Job summary

Spanish Cove Retirement Village is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our caring community. You will be part of a supportive family-oriented environment where every staff member plays a vital role in residents' lives.

This position offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $30, mainly working rotating shifts from 5:45 am to 6:15 pm over three days a week, including weekends. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k) matching program.

Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Department: Long-Term Care

Pay Rate: $30.00 Hourly

Hours: 5:45am- 6:15pm (3- days a week, Rotating days during the week with every other weekend)

The charge nurse position is responsible for:

• Performing a variety of duties to provide quality nursing care to residents and to coordinate total nursing care for residents.
• Must be able to work weekends & holidays.
• Frequent lifting & moving. Must have the ability to lift, move, & transfer 100 lbs with the physical capability to perform all job-related duties.
• Implementing specific procedures and programs
• Participating with the director of nursing and the ADON in establishing specific goals
• Determining work procedures and expediting workflow
• Ensuring compliance with all operating policies and procedures and Oklahoma Department of Health regulations and Federal Health Care Administration regulations
• Communicating with and supervising appropriate personnel
• Providing daily reports and other periodic reports
• Performing all the duties of a certified nursing aide (CNA) and certified medication aide (CMA) when required.

Essential Duties:

• Have active RN or LPN Licensure for the State of Oklahoma
• Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation every single day
• Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
• Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends
• Prior experience in healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment
• Willingness to enforce health and safety standards

• High School Diploma or equivalent and a Diploma from an accreditednursing school.

• Hoyer Lift Experience (specific to client)
