Job summary

Reflections Retirement Community in Urbana, IL is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant for a part-time, 2nd shift role. You will deliver individualized resident care according to personalized care plans and assist with Activities of Daily Living while promoting independence and dignity.

You will report changes to the clinical team, communicate with residents and families with empathy, and participate in ongoing learning through trainings and staff meetings.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Current CNA certification from an accredited program.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to serve residents with love, compassion and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized care per each resident’s care plan.
• Assist with ADLs while promoting independence and dignity.
• Report health status changes to the clinical team.
• Engage with residents and family members compassionately.
• Attend educational seminars and staff meetings for ongoing learning.
• Maintain confidentiality and privacy of resident information.

Salary Range: $18.00 - $18.00 Hourly

Job Shift: 2nd shift

Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional and individualized care as determined by each resident’s care plan
• Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) while promoting independence and maintaining dignity
• Report changes in resident health status to the clinical team
• Connect with residents and family members in a compassionate and impactful manner, creating a lasting and positive experience
• Engage in continuous learning and development opportunities through attendance and participation in educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning experiences
• Comply with all rules and regulations regarding confidentiality and privacy of resident information
• Perform any other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School graduate or GED equivalent required
• Current certification from an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Must demonstrate the ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity
