Job summary

Reflections Retirement Community in Flora, IL is seeking a Part Time Certified Nursing Assistant to provide compassionate, resident-centered care in accordance with each individualized care plan.

The role emphasizes assisting with Activities of Daily Living, promoting independence, and maintaining dignity while communicating with residents and their families. Ongoing learning and strict privacy compliance are part of daily responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current CNA certification from an accredited program.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized care per each resident’s plan.
• Assist with ADLs while promoting independence and dignity.
• Report changes in health status to the clinical team.
• Engage with residents and families with compassion and respect.
• Participate in seminars, staff meetings and learning experiences.
• Protect resident confidentiality and privacy.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Type: Part Time

Salary Range: $16.00 - $17.00 Hourly

Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional and individualized care as determined by each resident’s care plan
• Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) while promoting independence and maintaining dignity
• Report changes in resident health status to the clinical team
• Connect with residents and family members in a compassionate and impactful manner, creating a lasting and positive experience
• Engage in continuous learning and development opportunities through attendance and participation in educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning experiences
• Comply with all rules and regulations regarding confidentiality and privacy of resident information
• Perform any other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School graduate or GED equivalent required
• Current certification from an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Must demonstrate the ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity
