The Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) at Shepherd of the Valley cares for residents in our nursing facilities under nursing and medical staff. This Christian, not-for-profit community offers short-term rehab, skilled nursing, long-term care and more.

The Poland location is minutes from Route 224. CNA responsibilities include assisting with daily living, monitoring vitals, transporting residents and maintaining confidentiality; Ohio CNA certification is required.

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• 1–3 months of related experience and/or training preferred.
• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Ohio.
• Experience in Point Click Care is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Answers signal lights, bells or intercom to determine residents' needs.
• Bathes, dresses, and undresses residents.
• Serves and collects food trays and feeds residents needing help.
• Transports residents or assists residents to walk.
• Turns and repositions bedfast residents to prevent bedsores.
• Takes and records temperature, BP, pulse and respiration rates, and intake/output.
• Maintains confidentiality of all resident, staff and organization information.

The Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) cares for residents in our nursing facilities under the direction of nursing and medical staff.

This position is located at our beautiful Poland location, minutes from State Route 224 and Market Street. If it located down the street from the Sheetz on W. Western Reserve Road and Market Street, across from Eye Care Associates.

Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) Responsibilities

• Answers signal lights, bells or intercom system to determine residents' needs.
• Bathes, dresses, and undresses residents.
• Serves and collects food trays and feeds residents requiring help.
• Transports residents or assists residents to walk.
• Turns and repositions bedfast residents, alone or with assistance, to prevent bedsores.
• Takes and records temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiration rates, food and fluid intake and output, as directed.
• Cleans, sterilizes, stores, prepares, and issues dressing packs, treatment trays, and other supplies.
• Maintains the confidentiality of all resident, staff and organization information.

Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) Requirements

• Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED or the required experience.
• 1-3 months of related experience and/or training OR equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Ohio.
• Experience in Point Click Care is a plus.
