We're seeking a Certified Nurses Aide who is passionate about efficiency, communication, and organization. In this vital role, you'll be responsible for providing direct bedside care to patients and much more. The Certified Nurses Aide (CNA), working under the direct supervision of Registered Nurse, is primarily responsible for providing direct, non-invasive bedside care to patients. This position must integrate company values into daily practice.
Minimum Job Requirements Able to commit to PRN requirements. Minimum Education & Experience : High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred. 2 years of experience in inpatient hospital setting required, inpatient rehabilitation experience preferred.
Required Licenses, Certifications, and/or Documentation: Current state CNA certification required. BLS certification required.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of current clinical operations and procedures. Demonstrates knowledge of appropriate Infection Prevention and proper body mechanics. Demonstrates general computer skills including data entry, word processing, email, and records management. Demonstrates critical thinking skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and complete complex tasks. Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection prevention standards. Ability to maintain proper levels of confidentiality. Ability to work closely and professionally with others at all levels of the organization.
Physical Requirements Over the Course of a Shift: A significant amount of standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, pushing, and pulling, often for prolonged periods. Both gross and precise motor functions. Lifting/exerting of up to 50 lbs. Possible exposure to bodily fluids. Visual acuity required for patient assessment and documentation of care. Acute hearing required for accurate patient assessment. Sufficient manual dexterity to operate equipment and computer keyboard. Close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
