Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in accordance with state law.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Long term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities (bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing).
• Serve meals, assist with feeding, provide water and nourishment between meals.
• Support residents with mobility (ambulating, turning, positioning).
• Monitor and document vital signs, weight, intake and output.
• Ensure resident comfort, respond to call lights and requests promptly.
• Report changes in resident condition to the nursing supervisor.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and resident observations.
• Uphold resident privacy and dignity per HIPAA and facility standards.
• Comply with all federal, state, and facility regulations and guidelines.
• Stay current by maintaining CNA certification and pursuing education.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
