Job summary

Cottage Grove Place in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking a hospitality-focused Certified Nursing Aide to join our caring team on full-time 1st and 2nd shifts. You will assist residents with daily living activities, follow care plans, and report changes to nurses.

We value compassionate, patient-centered care and teamwork. A 75-hour CNA program and Iowa Nurse Aide Registry status are required; one year of experience is preferred. Compensation ranges from $22.00 to $25.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Graduation from certified 75-hour Nursing Assistant Program.
• Current status on Iowa Nurse Aide Registry.
• Minimum of one year experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in activities of daily living (ambulation, bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, personal hygiene, activities).
• Follow care plans and provide basic and specialized personal care under nurse supervision (hydration, nutrition, exercise, activities).
• Report changes in resident conditions (behavior, mood, activity, appetite, vital signs) to nurse.

Cottage Grove Place is recruiting for a hospitality focused Certified Nurses Aide (CNA) to join our team! Openings include Full-Time 1st and 2nd shifts.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a CNA:

• Assist residents in the activities of daily living including, but not limited to ambulation, bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, personal hygiene, and activities.
• Follow residents plan of care, assist residents with basic and specialized personal care under the monitoring and direction of a nurse, such as hydration, nutrition, exercise, activities, etc.
• Report changes in resident conditions, such as behavior, moods, activity level, appetite, vital signs, etc. to nurse.

Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:

• Graduation from certified 75-hour Nursing Assistant Program.
• Current status on Iowa Nurse Aide Registry.
• Minimum of one (1) year experience, preferred.

Salary Range: $22.00-25.50/hour
