Job summary

Cottage Grove Place is seeking a hospitality-focused Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. Openings include Full-Time 1st and 2nd shifts.

You will assist residents with daily living activities, follow care plans under a nurse's direction, and report changes in condition to the nurse promptly and accurately.

Salary ranges from $22.00 to $25.50 per hour, with a focus on compassionate, professional care and teamwork in a supportive community setting.

Qualifications

• Graduation from certified 75-hour Nursing Assistant Program.
• Current status on Iowa Nurse Aide Registry.
• Minimum of one year experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including ambulation, bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, and personal hygiene.
• Follow residents' plans of care and assist with basic and specialized personal care under nurse supervision.
• Report changes in resident conditions (behavior, mood, activity level, appetite, vitals) to the nurse.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a CNA:

• Assist residents in the activities of daily living including, but not limited to ambulation, bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, personal hygiene, and activities.
• Follow residents plan of care, assist residents with basic and specialized personal care under the monitoring and direction of a nurse, such as hydration, nutrition, exercise, activities, etc.
• Report changes in resident conditions, such as behavior, moods, activity level, appetite, vital signs, etc. to nurse.

Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:

• Graduation from certified 75-hour Nursing Assistant Program.
• Current status on Iowa Nurse Aide Registry.
• Minimum of one (1) year experience, preferred.
