Job summary

Bartley Nursing & Rehab in Bennetts Mills, NJ is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to support residents in inpatient and long-term care settings. You will assist with daily care tasks and help the nursing team provide safe, dignified care.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Observing Residents.
• Reporting health issues to supervising staff.
• Assisting with personal hygiene (bed baths, shaving, etc).
• Setting up meal trays and documenting intake.
• Feeding Residents and providing nutritional supplements as needed.
• Making beds and keeping spaces clean and tidy.
• Transporting Residents within the Facility.
• Turning bedridden residents to prevent bedsores.
• Maintaining confidentiality of all resident data.

Requirements

• Previous experience in inpatient settings or long-term care preferred.
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology is essential.
• Experience working with individuals who have developmental disabilities or behavioral health challenges is advantageous.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, including ICU settings if required.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine desire to help others.
• State certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) is required.
