Job summary

Altea Healthcare is seeking a Certified Nurse Practitioner for a part-time weekend role in a skilled nursing facility in Kenosha, Wisconsin. The position offers work-life balance, comprehensive training, mentorship, and strong support in post-acute care.

In this role you will perform exams, order tests, diagnose and manage conditions, prescribe medications, and educate patients and families while collaborating with physicians and staff.

Qualifications

• NP license required or eligible to obtain.
• Current DEA registration or willingness to obtain prior to start date.
• All experience levels welcome; training and mentorship available.
• Passion for geriatrics, internal medicine, or primary care.
• Strong teamwork and excellent communication skills.
• Self-motivated with a patient-first approach.

Responsibilities

• Performing physical exams and reviewing medical histories.
• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests (labs, imaging, etc.).
• Diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions.

What You’ll Do:

As a Certified NP, you will be a key clinical provider in a skilled nursing facility, diagnosing, treating, and guiding patients to better health. No two days are the same!
