Job summary

Valley Forge Medical Center & Hospital in Norristown, Pennsylvania is seeking a compassionate CRNP to join our clinical team in addiction treatment. The CRNP will provide comprehensive medical evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of patients in a hospital-based addiction treatment setting.

This role collaborates with physicians, nursing staff, counselors, and the interdisciplinary treatment team to promote safety, wellness, recovery, and long-term health outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted Pennsylvania CRNP/NP license.
• Current DEA registration is required.
• Minimum 2 years of Nurse Practitioner experience preferred.
• Experience with substance use disorders, addiction, behavioral health, or medically complex populations preferred.
• Master's degree in Nursing with NP preparation required.
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment-planning skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Ability to work independently with sound clinical judgment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment while managing multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive medical assessments, physical examinations, and health evaluations.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Provide ongoing medical management and follow-up care.

Position Summary

The CRNP will provide comprehensive medical evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of patients in a hospital-based addiction treatment setting.

This position involves serving as a Nurse Practitioner within an addiction treatment program, providing direct patient care while collaborating with physicians, nursing staff, counselors, and other members of the interdisciplinary treatment team.

• Maintain compliance with applicable federal, state, facility, and regulatory requirements.
