La Clinica De Familia in southern New Mexico provides direct primary care services to LCDF patients, guided by our mission to empower communities.

This role requires NP licensure in NM, DEA and pharmacy certifications, bilingual abilities preferred, and a commitment to compassionate patient education and confidential care.

Qualifications

• Licensed by the NM Board of Nursing to practice, or eligible for licensure.
• Board Certification in a primary care specialty.
• DEA certification
• NM Board of Pharmacy certification
• Current NM Driver's License and automobile insurance.
• Graduate from Nurse Practitioner program.
• Additional training in Primary Care preferred but not required e.g. diabetes education, women's health

Responsabilités

• Provide direct primary care health services to LCDF patients within the scope of laws and regulations.
• Develop and implement diagnostic and treatment plans.
• Maintain effective working relationships with all staff and departments.
• Educate patients and families about health management and disease prevention.

Job Summary

Provides direct primary care health services to LCDF patients within the scope of laws and regulations.

• Must be able to work and problem solve independently.
• Cultural competence with Hispanic population.
• Basic office procedures relevant to duties contracted for according to primary care.
• Effective communication and patient education skills.
