Job summary

Stamford Health and Oula Health are opening a maternity care practice in Norwalk, CT, inviting a Certified Nurse Midwife to join a full-time team delivering perinatal and GYN care. The CNM will work at both the Norwalk clinic and Stamford Hospital, providing labor, birth, and postpartum services within a collaborative care model.

Hours are Monday–Friday, 8AM–5PM, with overnight call including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Active LM licensure in Connecticut.
• AMCB certification as a CNM.
• Minimum five years of post‑graduate clinical midwife experience in hospital labor & delivery and low acuity maternity/GYN care.

Responsibilities

• Provides full-scope midwifery maternity care (labor, birth, postpartum) at Norwalk clinic and Stamford Hospital.
• Oversees patients through pregnancy, coordinating with interdisciplinary teams and transferring to MD care as needed.
• Communicates with patients to answer questions and address concerns.
• Help develop clinical protocols to optimize midwife-OBGYN collaboration and support resident training.
