Job summary

Allina Health in Minnesota is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife for a full‑time role at Mercy Women's Clinic. The CNM will provide labor support, water birth and VBAC/TOLAC services, in collaboration with obstetric and maternal‑fetal medicine colleagues. Expect 40–50 births each month across the system.

The role emphasizes natural birth experiences within hospital settings, with adherence to ACNM standards and Minnesota law. Includes professional liability coverage including tail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree Graduate from Accredited School of Nursing required.
• Master's degree or doctoral in nursing or related field preferred.
• Licensed Registered Nurse - MN Board of Nursing required on hire.
• AMCB American Midwifery Certification Board required on hire.

Responsibilities

• CNM group independently provides labor support, water birth and VBAC/TOLAC services.
• Midwifery collaborative support provided by inhouse OB and maternal fetal medicine groups.
• Attend approximately 40–50 births per month across affiliated clinics.
• Natural birth experience with nontraditional care in the hospital.
• Follow standards for Nurse Midwifery Practice per ACNM and Minnesota statute.
• Professional liability insurance including tail.

Education

Bachelor's degree Graduate from Accredited School of Nursing
