UNC Women's Health at Eden seeks a full-time Certified Nurse Midwife to join our practice of two OBGYNs and a Nurse Practitioner. The CNM will provide comprehensive care across antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum and newborn services, performing exams, documenting data and collaborating with team members.

The ideal candidate has MSN, NC RN licensure, CNM certification, and 3+ years nursing with midwifery experience. UNC Health Rockingham credentials are required for staff eligibility.

Qualifications

• MSN required.
• RN licensure in NC (compact) required.
• Certification as Nurse Midwife required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nurse midwifery care for antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum and newborns.
• Perform exams, document data, manage labor/delivery, and prescribe interventions and medications.
