Job summary

UNC Health’s UNC Women's Health at Eden seeks a full-time Certified Nurse Midwife to join a practice with two OBGYNs and a Nurse Practitioner. The CNM will provide comprehensive care across antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum periods, including newborn services, with duties spanning exams, data collection, labor support and prescriptive care.

The role emphasizes collaboration with UNC Health specialists, adherence to credentialing, and delivering patient-centered care in a community hospital

Qualifications

MSN required; CNM certification is mandatory.
Current RN licensure in North Carolina or compact state.
Three years of nursing experience in a clinical setting.
One or more years of full panel midwifery experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Assess patients and develop plans for antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum care.
Manage labor, delivery and newborn care.
Order and interpret labs and imaging; coordinate consultations.
Prescribe interventions and medications as appropriate.
